Content Department Updates

For all Symphonic Distribution labels, this is where you can come to for some of your content related questions, answers, and requests.  We will keep adding to this on a weekly basis and if you have anything else you want us to post up, please feel free to email us at content@symphonicdistribution.com

Content Requirements:
- When sending a release, ensure the entire release is zipped or created as a rar.
- Inside the rar or zip, please put a 600x600 JPG image cover of release (1 JPG only)
- Inside the rar or zip, please put our release spreadsheet (found below)
- Inside the rar or zip, please put 320kbps MP3s or 44khz/16 bit WAV files ONLY.
- When all is prepared, please send to content@symphonicdistribution.com
- Ensure the release date is 3 weeks after the date you send release.
- Once release has been sent in, it is final! So please ensure all is correct.

Need Instructions Again?
If you need instructions, please email content@symphonicdistribution.com for the instructions to be sent to you asap.

Upload Schedule:
As per our requirements above, we wanted to give you further detail on how exactly we process content and what the weekly schedule is.  We give you an idea on this so you know the right day of the week to send us content aside of the rules above.  We still recommend that you send us releases for 3 weeks after the date that you send it as we want to ensure it is released on time.

Mondays
Sending Releases To Retailers (Excluding Beatport)
Processing and receiving new releases

Tuesdays - Thursdays
Loading and sending out releases received within week for release the following week

Fridays
Downloading releases for the following week (We do not do new releases on Fridays)
Sending out releases to all retailers (Including Beatport)

Release Spreadsheet:
As you know, we currently require you to fill out a release spreadsheet when sending content to us.  It is IMPORTANT that all details are filled out correctly for your release as we want to ensure there are no errors.  Please click here to download the release spreadsheet and begin including it in your release submissions.
